Took on a Gaia commission so i'm putting my graveyard picture on hold. I enjoy night scenes alot apparently. Had a song from repo! in my head for this one in particular, two guesses as to which one. Second one here is the gaia commission I am trying ever so hard to finish. One of my co workers apparently got mauled by a cat which sounds insane (I thought it was BS until she came in and showed everyone her hand, apparently the cat bit into nerves and stuff and she might lose use of it according to people I work with who are in fact not doctors) So I had to take on her shifts. Only gave me one day off which everyone I work with can't figure out why that bothers me but they also don't care that I only work part time for a reason >.> Anyway, the flat colours don't match up to the character ref's colours but trust me, they'll work out the same when i'm done in case some of you forget how I colour.
M'thinks i'm a better colour-er then draw-er.

Yup, those really are piranha plants from mario.

Well sitting here colouring Ivy and I take a glance over at my arkam asylum figure of ivy <Gift from Michelle and Anthony> And I thought "Hmmmm I could make her green." So I did a few recolour options just to see how it'd work. I have nothing against her green skin designs that are more common these days it's just when I was growing up she was always regular flesh coloured and thus it's hard for me to think of her being entirely green. But in this i'm not entirely sure her human skin colour works as well with the lighter costume. <I was partly basing it on Uma Thurman's Ivy>

obviously, I went in a very different direction, but you can see where I got certain idea's from.
I went a little less on the leaves for her top simply because I was lazy.
Anywho, back to work, Silphy out.
